Hamilton fastest in Hungarian FP1

Hungarian Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time in FP1 with a 1:21.347, two tenths clear of team mate Nico Rosberg. The session started in damp conditions which saw drivers head out on intermediate tyres for the first twenty minutes of the session. Slick tyres quickly became the suitable tyre, which saw lap times tumble rapidly to seven tenths below last year’s pole position time. The newly resurfaced track was yielding little grip, but it expected to be rubbered in quickly as the weekend progresses.
