Haryanto accepts Manor reserve position
– Rio Haryanto will remain with Manor as its reserve driver for the remainder of the season, having accepted the team's offer, following the termination of his race contract.Haryanto made his Formula 1 debut with Manor at the start of the season though he only had sufficient funding to take him to Hungary, before being granted an additional race in Germany.Haryanto required extra funding in order to compete across the second half of the season but it was not forthcoming, and Manor confirmed on Wednesday that it had terminated his contract.Manor offered Haryanto a reserve role, in order to maintain his connection with Formula 1, and the Indonesian has now accepted that...
