Magnussen to use spare chassis at Monza

Still to be cleared fit to race, if approved Kevin Magnussen will use his spare chassis for the Italian GP weekend. Though his approval to take part in this weekend's Italian Grand Prix appears to be a formality, the Dane came out of last weekend's high-speed crash at Spa in much better shape than his car. Though Magnussen suffered only a heavily bruised left ankle, his car is a write-off. 'The accident was clearly sizeable and the damage sustained is too great to use the car for Italy,' confirmed technical director, Nick Chester.
