Palmer hails "best Friday" of 2016

Jolyon Palmer has hailed his Malaysia practice performance as the best Friday he had in Formula 1, as he said Renault's promising form proved the progress the team was making. After a difficult few races for the team – with its car not suited to the long straights or bumps at tracks like Spa, Monza and Singapore – Palmer delivered cause for optimism with the 12th fastest time in second free practice.
