Romain Grosjean: “We’ve been on the back foot since the beginning”

Romain Grosjean was a disappointed Frenchman after finding himself eliminated from qualifying for the United States Grand Prix at the first hurdle, and will start his 100th Grand Prix from seventeenth on the grid. The Haas F1 Team have struggled for downforce throughout their first home event at the Circuit of the Americas, and Grosjean paid the price as he missed out on getting through to the second segment of qualifying by 0.224 seconds, but the Frenchman feels they will also struggle during the race on Sunday. “We’re missing downforce here and paying a heavy price for it,” said Grosjean. “This is a track that needs a lot of downforce and we just don’t have enough. “Low speed...
