Montreal inaugurates new Circuit Gilles Villeneuve pit complex

©Instagram Formula 1 CEO Chase Carey was in Montreal on Wednesday for the inauguration of Montreal's new pit and paddock complex. The overhaul of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve's main infrastructure was hit with a delay because of the harsh weather conditions that prevailed last winter. "Winter set in very early in Quebec this year, with snow coming in November," race promoter François Dumortier told Le Journal de Montreal. Just three weeks from the start of the Canadian Grand Prix weekend, parts of the main building have yet to be fully completed, with finishing touches expected to be undertaken even after next month's event.
