Gasly: Red Bull supportive despite disappointing start
Pierre Gasly says Red Bull have been supportive of him throughout his difficult start to life with the team which has seen him never in contention for a podium spot in six races and easily outperformed by Max Verstappen in the same car. When Daniel Ricciardo surprised the team by announcing his departure to Renault, Gasly was fast-tracked to Red Bull from junior team Toro Rosso. Article continues under video So far, it hasn’t been easy for the Frenchman, who has crashed in two testing periods as well as being the only driver in the top six yet to claim a podium finish. Rumours circulated that Red Bull were beginning to become concerned with the results, but Gasly insists they are right...
