F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 French GP

France saw one of the poorest performances of the year so far from Haas, which really seemed to struggle at the Circuit Paul Ricard all weekend. Local hero Romain Grosjean was compromised from the start with the latest upgrades to the VF-19 going to his team mate, leaving him the slowest driver of all in FP1 and faring little better in FP2. There were signs of improvement on Saturday morning, but he didn't get a clear run in qualifying which had up to now been Haas' forté in 2019, and he was duly eliminated in the first round.
