Gasly on troublesome French GP
Pierre Gasly didn’t have the best race at the French GP and struggled with his Red Bull, managing to secure a point after Daniel Ricciardo’s penalties dropped him down. Gasly started ninth and managed to get ahead of Ricciardo at the start of the race, holding position before and after his pit-stop. But the Frenchman soon lost places quickly as Ricciardo, Kimi Raikkonen and Nico Hulkenberg all passed him. But Gasly struggled with handling the car, sliding around and ultimately would have not secured any points had it not been for Ricciardo’s moves late on with Lando Norris and Raikkonen being penalised.
