“Ferrari’s position is clear. For us, Vettel won in Montreal'

Ferrari vice-chairman, Piero Ferrari, the son of Enzo Ferrari is adamant from a Scuderia perspective that Sebastian Vettel won the Canadian Grand Prix despite the official result giving Lewis Hamilton the win. Vettel was denied victory in Canada after he was handed a controversial, five-second time penalty for impeding Lewis Hamilton after the German made a mistake and ran onto the grass at turn 4. Vettel was adjudged to have re-entered the track in an unsafe manner as it almost forced Hamilton into the wall.
