Latifi handed FP1 outing for Spa

With Robert Kubica thought to be on his way out of Williams come the end of this year, Nicholas Latifi will have another audition with the team at Spa on Friday. Williams have announced that the Formula 2 driver will be in action at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, putting in the laps in FP1. The team has yet to reveal which of the two drivers, Kubica or George Russell, he will replace for the session. 'Nicholas joins us on Friday for his third FP1 session of the season and it will be interesting to get his impression of how the car has changed since his last outing in France, having seen some improvements in our performance in Budapest,' said race engineer Dave Robson.
